the question, plainly

founders ask us this every week:

"what does a 30-day ui/ux sprint actually cost in 2026?"

most agencies hide the answer behind "it depends." here is the honest version, with ranges, what is inside the price, and what a low quote usually means.

the range across mena in 2026

across mena in 2026, a senior 30-day ui/ux sprint with a credible agency falls into one of three brackets:

tierprice range (usd)what you gettypical agency profile
junior / templated$1,500 – $5,000a designer, often a freelancer, working from a pre-built kit. covers wireframes and basic ui. limited research.a solo freelancer or a small studio with junior staff.
mid-market senior$6,000 – $15,000a senior designer or two, full sprint methodology, research, validation, prototype, handoff.a mid-size agency in beirut, amman, cairo, or a remote-first team.
enterprise / dubai-based$25,000 – $80,000+senior team, brand involvement, multi-platform, often paired with a research firm.a tier-one dubai or riyadh agency, or a global firm.

the mid-market tier is where most credible work happens. the gap between the junior tier and the mid-market tier is enormous, even though the price gap looks like a 2x. the gap between mid-market and enterprise is mostly overhead, brand premium, and physical presence in dubai or riyadh.

a $2,000 sprint and a $10,000 sprint are not the same product at different price points. they are two different products. one is a templated deliverable. the other is a methodology applied to your specific business.

what's inside a credible 30-day sprint

a senior, mid-market sprint at this level should include:

week 1 — discover and define

  • ideation workshop (live, video or in person)
  • competitor and inspiration audit
  • user personas (2 or 3)
  • user stories mapping
  • product vision document

week 2 — map and validate

  • user flow diagrams
  • information architecture
  • low-fidelity wireframes
  • validation conversations with target users where possible
  • content structure

week 3 — design and build

  • moodboard and visual direction
  • high-fidelity ui mockups
  • micro-interactions specification
  • light or dark mode (when relevant)
  • a small design system

week 4 — prototype and handoff

  • a fully clickable figma prototype
  • a developer handoff kit
  • asset export package
  • consultancy hours during developer ramp-up
  • a final stakeholder review

if the deliverable list above looks short to you, it is because we have stripped it down to what actually matters. the deliverables are deep, not numerous.

what's not in the price

most credible agencies will be explicit about exclusions. ours typically reads:

  • ongoing design work after day 30 (separate retainer or scope)
  • development of the prototype into a real product (separate engagement)
  • copywriting beyond ux microcopy
  • illustration or motion design beyond what the ui requires
  • user research with paid recruitment (we handle qualitative validation; quantitative panels are extra)

you should ask any agency for their exclusion list before you sign. an agency that cannot give you one is not used to delivering against scope.

why dubai pricing is so much higher

a $40,000 sprint in dubai and a $9,000 sprint in beirut can be functionally the same engagement. the gap is not capability. it is overhead.

dubai office rent, salaries, and brand premium add up. agencies in dubai also tend to bundle research firms, motion houses, and brand consultancies into the price by default, even when you don't need them.

a beirut-based agency operating in dubai (like maxiphy) typically prices in the mid-market band even for dubai clients, because our delivery cost structure is anchored in beirut. you get the same senior team and methodology at roughly half the dubai-resident agency price.

what a low quote usually means

a $1,500 to $4,000 quote for a "30 day ui/ux sprint" is almost always one of three things:

  1. a templated deliverable. the agency runs the same sprint for everyone, swaps the colour palette and copy, and ships it. it can look fine, but it is not designed around your business.
  2. a wireframes-only deliverable. what you call "design" they call "wireframes plus a moodboard." the high-fidelity work, prototype, and handoff are extra.
  3. a junior freelancer who has not done this before. the price reflects the experience, even if the title does not.

cheap sprints are not a bargain. they are a different product. some founders genuinely need that product (early-stage idea exploration, a quick visual mockup for a pitch deck). but if you intend to build the result, a templated sprint will leak into the development phase as rebuilds, and the rebuilds will cost more than the price difference would have.

ranges by city, in 2026

based on our work and research across the region in 2025 and 2026:

citytypical mid-market range (usd)notes
beirut, lebanon$6,000 – $12,000most senior agencies in this band
dubai, uae$20,000 – $60,000resident agencies; lebanese-delivered teams price lower
riyadh / jeddah, ksa$18,000 – $50,000similar to dubai for senior firms
doha, qatar$20,000 – $55,000smaller market, fewer options, comparable pricing
amman, jordan$4,000 – $10,000strong design talent, lower delivery cost
cairo, egypt$3,000 – $8,000wide range, large junior tier, fewer senior shops

these are mid-market, senior-craft sprints with a 30-day scope. enterprise tiers are above. junior or templated tiers are below.

what we charge

we don't list a fixed sprint price publicly. every business has a different number of user types, platforms, and integrations, and a fixed price would either over-charge most clients or undercharge the complex ones.
